Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 Winner Arjun Bijlani On Bagging The Trophy: 'It's Always Good To Be An Underdog'
Arjun Bijlani was declared as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 Sunday night.
Arjun Bijlani emerged as the winner of Rohit Shetty-hosted show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11' Sunday night. The actor took home the trophy and a car. Divyanka Tripathi was announced as the runner-up of the stunt-based reality show. She lost to Arjun with a 20-second time difference in completion of the finale task. And quite understandably, Arjun is on cloud nine after being declared the winner.
In his first interview after his big win, Arjun shared that it feels amazing as he gave the show his everything. Throughout the show, he wasn't seen as the strongest contestant by most of his fellow competitors and that he thinks worked in his favour. Talking about it, he told ETimes, "It's always good to be an underdog. Varun Sood and Vishal Aditya Singh became like brothers on the show, so, they obviously took each other's name every time they were asked to name the strongest competitor."
"Divyanka was definitely a big surprise package for everybody. I always took her name whenever I was asked to name the strongest contestant. Kudos to her for performing stunts after stunts so well. However, only one person wins in a game like KKK. The winner isn't decided on the basis of his/her performance throughout the season, but in that particular stunt. In the final stunt, I was a little faster than her. It's just that!" he added. The actor further stated that winning or losing didn't matter to him once he reached the finale. The actor added that after his stint on KKK, he is now ready to face challenges and fears in his life. "This show teaches you to push yourself more than you think you can. Limitations are just in your mind," he said.
After winning the show, Arjun took to Instagram and penned a note thanking everyone for making his KKK journey a memorable one. "Winning losing toh chalta rehta hai what really matters is the journey on the show," he wrote.
